So you’re planning for your big day and you’ve gone over every last detail. Check, check, check… and as you look over the budget you are looking to see where you can trim off extra costs. In today’s economic climate it’s a reasonable expectation to be thrifty. So you ask yourself, “Why can’t ‘Uncle Bob’ or my best friend record the wedding?” Well, taken at face value the answer is yes, a family member or friend can do this for you. The real question is: Will the finished product be something you will be happy with at your 50^th Anniversary?

Yes, it’s true that video equipment and its technology have come along way allowing for the average person to make really cool home videos. But what good is the technology if it’s not used applicably and you end up with nothing more than a home video of your special day? The wedding day is a capture, (a time capsule) of not just the guest, the dress, the cake… it’s a capture of the feelings and memories too. Everyone has a favorite movie and each time they go back to see that favorite movie they remember the feelings that made them like it in the first place. Be honest about your budget, let everyone know your expectations, relax and remember after the big day you have one more personal present to open… your wedding video.

I want to thank everyone who stopped by our booth at the show yesterday. It was so wonderful to get to talk to every single bride who stopped by. The show was wonderful and I hope that everyone was able find the vendors they needed. I am sure it was overwhelming. But a piece of advice.....take it one vendor it at a time. I tell every bride I work with, when you find the right vendor for your wedding you will know.

I hope the show was just as great for everyone as it was for me.

The way it will work is.... when you refer a bride and they pay the deposit we give you $25.00 off your bill and they receive $25.00 off their bill. So the more brides you refer the more you save.
